NUESTRA METODOLOGÍA BILINGÜE
En la comunidad educativa del CBM "Maestro José Castaño" hemos tenido en cuenta los fundamentos del bilingüismo y las diferentes teorías sobre el mismo, a la hora de aplicar nuestro proyecto bilingüe en el centro.
Actualmente ha quedado reflejada la necesidad y el valor que tiene hablar dos lenguas y son claros los beneficios que ello aporta. Un niño bilingüe es cualquier alumno que habla dos lenguas con igual fluidez, aunque se asuma una de las dos como dominante sobre la otra. Además, tratamos de crear una atmósfera en la que el niño se sienta en un ambiente relacionado con los países y cultura inglesa.
El bilingüismo ayuda al alumnado a comprender mejor los contenidos, se desarrolla la imaginación y se asimilan más fácilmente las nociones abstractas. La riqueza en cuanto a lenguaje y cultura es superior, así como su flexibilidad de pensamiento que se refleja en todas las áreas de aprendizaje.
OUR WORK METHODOLOGY
The education and social community of CBM "Maestro José Castaño we have considered the foundations of bilingualism studied throughout the years to select the most important theories on which our project is going to be based.
Nowadays the value of speaking more than one language is accepted worldwide and there are very clear advantages in it. A bilingual child is one who speaks two languages with equal fluency, although he or she is assumed to be proficient in one of the languages. We try to create an atmosphere similar to the English culture in order to link the language to the culture of an English speaking country.
Bilingualism has been shown to increase children’s understanding of contents. Bilingual children have also been shown to be more imaginative and better with abstract notions. Their richness of language and culture is developed. The flexibility in thinking developed by bilingualism is transferred to other areas of learning.
RECURSOS Y MATERIALES DE CENTRO
El uso de diferentes recursos es muy importante. Es fundamental que estén bien presentados a la hora de crear una motivación al alumno y siempre con un significado, es decir, dentro de un contexto y no de forma aislada. Algunos ejemplos más comunes son los cuentos, flash-cards, juegos, posters, carteles, canciones etc.
SCHOOL RESOURCES AND MATERIALS
Resources are valuable aids, but they should be used with a critical eye. It is important that they are well presented using the best available materials and in no way inferior to other resources available in English. The most common examples are dual texts, books in languages other than English, materials, such as games, posters and charts, songs and self-made materials.
